According to German newspaper B.Z., producer Ash R. Shah and his firm, The Animation Picture Company, the makers of 2007 film “Garfield Gets Real,” has offered the Zoo Berlin $5 million for the rights to Knut's story.
In an interview with the paper, Shah revealed that the film will centre on the heartwarming relationship between Knut and his caretaker, Thomas Doerflein, and that TomKat’s beloved daughter could speak the English voice of Knut.
Last year, the news of baby Cruise having been signed up for a lucrative contract from Baby Gap was vehemently denied by the family’s representative.
